What was Bode Miller thinking?

I am an avid skier. I used to race competitively in college, on the USSA mogul circuit. Bode Miller is America's top skier right now, and one of the best in a long time.

I am really looking forward to watching him in the Olympics, and the last thing he needs is to be distracted by the media. Which is why I can't believe he would say such stupid things on '60 Minutes'. But I guess I will have to see for myself this Sunday.
