Standout Stocks

The action is pretty bearish today. Most stocks are making moves to the downside, with few bucking the overall trend. The major indexes are now below their 50-days, so my cautious stance stands.

Nonetheless, here are some stocks making notable moves today:
  • EMR - rising along its 20-day average
  • ELOS - spiking above recent consolidation
  • QCOM - raises guidance for 1Q
  • ATHR - Mad Money mention
  • MFLX - more new highs
  • MRVL - high volume selloff below 50-day
  • STX - gapping down on higher volume
  • MYOG - 15% plunge; earnings related
  • GMXR - continuation of last week's selloff
  • FLR - high volume selloff; looks mostly technical
